Crave Homes
How a North Vancouver luxury home builder got a digital presence that matches the quality of the homes they build
When the Work Is Premium, the Website Has to Prove It
For a custom home builder, the website is not a brochure. It is the pitch. When a homeowner or architect in North Vancouver is spending $600,000 or more on a renovation or custom build, they are going to look at the portfolio, read about the team, and assess whether the company feels trustworthy before they ever pick up the phone.
Crave Homes has been building and renovating premium homes in North Vancouver and West Vancouver since 2019. The quality of the work is high. The portfolio is compelling. The client video testimonials are strong. None of that was visible online before Beazy rebuilt the site.
Luxury Builds. Custom Process. Deep Roots.
Crave Homes is a luxury custom home builder and renovator based in North Vancouver, BC. Founded in 2019, they serve homeowners and architects across North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Vancouver, Coquitlam, and the wider Metro region.
Their work spans full custom home builds, high-end whole-home renovations, kitchen and bath remodels, garden suites, and additions. Completed projects include properties in Horseshoe Bay, Deep Cove, East Vancouver waterfront, and prestigious North Shore neighbourhoods. Each project is managed by their three-step process: Imagine Freely, Shape with Care, Step Inside Proudly.
Crave Homes also holds a long-term partnership with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, restoring and revitalizing community homes to modern code and energy standards. This partnership is both a trust signal and a statement about how the company approaches its work.
Their differentiation in a crowded market: direct access to the project team, a credible on-time and on-budget methodology, and a portfolio that speaks for itself when it is presented well.
A Premium Builder with No Digital Proof
Before working with Beazy, Crave Homes was operating on a legacy website that did not showcase the portfolio, did not establish credibility, and was not built to convert high-intent visitors into project inquiries. The site was managed through a previous web agency (Masterhouse Media) and had not kept pace with the quality of the work being done on-site.
In a category where homeowners research extensively before making contact, a weak digital presence effectively removes a company from consideration. Crave Homes was winning projects through referrals and direct relationships but was invisible to homeowners and architects searching online.

The Rebuild
The Website, Before and After
Foundation First. Then Visibility.
Custom WordPress Website
Beazy designed and developed a new website for Crave Homes at cravehomes.com, launching in November 2025. The site was migrated from the legacy Masterhouse Media platform to a Beazy-managed WordPress setup on SiteGround. The design is premium, clean, and built to convert high-intent visitors: homeowners and architects who have already decided they want luxury custom work and are now evaluating which builder to call.
Portfolio Showcase: 9 Projects Live
For a luxury builder, the portfolio is the primary conversion asset. We created dedicated project pages for nine completed and in-progress builds: Dickinson, Pheasant, Spencer (custom builds) plus Howe Sound, Fairway Place (Deep Cove), Avon Place, West Keith Road, Wall Street, and Riverbend Drive (renovations and additions). Each page includes project photography, scope summary, and key details that establish the quality of the work.
The Dickinson project was given priority treatment as the lead portfolio piece, optimized for award entry submission and positioned to showcase the breadth of the company's capabilities.
Video Testimonials
We integrated three client video testimonials into the site, produced in October 2025. Video testimonials are the highest-trust social proof available for high-consideration services. For a business where the average project value is $300,000 to $600,000+, a client speaking directly to camera about their experience does more conversion work than any text or rating.
Technical SEO Audit and Implementation
We completed a full technical SEO audit covering crawl health, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup (Organization schema implemented), ALT text, HTTPS compliance, meta tags, and canonical structure. All high-priority issues were resolved. The site is correctly indexed, structured for search, and has a clean technical foundation for the content strategy to build on.
Blog and Content Strategy
We launched a blog publishing cadence of two posts per month, beginning February 2026. The content targets long-tail renovation and home building queries in the North Shore and Metro Vancouver market. In a category where high-difficulty keywords are out of reach at current domain authority, consistent content compounds over time and builds the authority required to rank.
Audience Architecture
We structured the site to serve two distinct audiences: homeowners looking for a custom build or renovation partner, and architects looking for a builder to collaborate with. Separate navigation paths, relevant portfolio examples, and distinct value propositions for each audience type reduce friction and ensure each visitor finds the information that matters to them.
Organic Rankings Are the Long Game. Reputation Is the Short Game.
Luxury custom home building is one of the most competitive categories in Metro Vancouver for organic search. High-difficulty keywords like "north vancouver custom home builder" are held by companies with years of domain authority and backlink portfolios that take time to build. Trying to rank for those terms from a standing start is a strategy for 2027, not 2026.
For Crave Homes, the higher-leverage strategy in the short term is reputation-first. A client who finds Crave through a referral, a Google search for the brand name, or a recommendation from an architect partner will convert when the site makes the right impression. That is the problem the new site solves.
The foundation is in place: a premium digital presence, a complete portfolio, social proof, and a content machine that builds authority over time. The parallel work on Google Business Profile, review acquisition, and ad strategy creates multiple paths for qualified homeowners to find and choose Crave Homes.
Frequently Asked
Does Beazy build websites for custom home builders and renovation companies?
Yes. Custom home builder and renovation websites require specific design decisions: a portfolio system that leads with photography, clear differentiation for the target audience (homeowners vs. architects vs. investors), trust signals that address the high-consideration nature of the purchase, and a content strategy built around local long-tail keywords. Beazy has completed this work for Crave Homes and applies the same framework for any premium trades or construction business.
What makes SEO different for luxury home builders?
Luxury custom home building is a high-difficulty SEO category. Competitive keywords are held by established businesses with strong domain authority. For newer or growing builders, the practical SEO strategy focuses on technical correctness, portfolio pages optimized for local terms, long-tail blog content, and Google Business Profile management. Organic rankings on head terms like "custom home builder vancouver" are a long-term outcome, not a short-term deliverable. The site's job is to convert the traffic that does arrive, and to compound authority over time through content.
